Wastewater Treatment

A Lithium Chloride Tracer test was conducted in two adjacent 90' diameter x 1.5 million gallon Anaerobic Digesters. One Digester was fitted with one (1) 10HP Enersave VLM Mixer and the second with five (5) standard rotary mechanical draft tube Mixers. The results proved equal mixing capabilities using 90% less power.

CFD modeling was performed on the above digester tank to provide detailed understanding of the performance of the Enersave Mixer. CFD tracer analysis were validated with empirical tracer tests. Further CFD analysis was carried out to determine the distribution of solids and tracer material in the wastewater.
